Few Australian artists can lay claim to shaping the arts landscape both at home and abroad in much the same way that sculptor and painter Brett Whiteley did. The iconic artist’s life and legacy are explored in Whiteley, which celebrates this singular figure who did so much to shape Australia's rich cultural history throughout the 1970s and 80s. Whiteley canvases over four decades of archival footage, including never-before-seen interviews with the artist and his collaborators, as well as insights into his process by means of his personal notebooks. While he might have left us in 1992, his body of work will live on forever.
